The Care You’ve Been Hoping For

Expert Care
Why DayBreak Exists
Some families come to us after months of trying to do it all themselves. Others arrive weary from calling agencies that never called back. Many are navigating confusing government benefits, unsure if help is even possible.
DayBreak was founded by two local entrepreneurs who saw the toll this takes—physically, mentally, and emotionally. We started this work to be the provider that doesn’t disappear, doesn’t leave you guessing, and doesn’t treat you like a case number.
For 15+ years, we’ve been rooted right here in South Carolina, helping our neighbors stay in the homes they love with dignity, clarity, and consistent care.
How It Works
What Makes Us Different
If we say we’ll do it, we do it—whether that’s returning your call, showing up on time, or making sure you understand every next step.
We specialize in Department of Labor (EEOICPA) benefits, translating the red tape into simple steps so you get the care you’ve earned.
We serve fewer clients with more hours, so your loved one sees familiar faces who know their routines and respect their independence. We work until we find the perfect fit between client and caregiver.
We’re here for more than medical tasks—we help carry the weight so you can be a spouse, a daughter, a son again.

Who We Serve
At DayBreak, we care for two types of clients—those who have earned Department of Labor (EEOICPA) benefits through federal or energy work, and those seeking dependable, private in-home care for themselves or a loved one. The care we deliver in the home is similar—but how we help you access and fund that care is tailored to your situation.
For Former Federal & Energy Workers
If you or your loved one worked at Savannah River Site or in another federal role, you may qualify for fully covered in-home care under the DOL’s EEOICPA program.
We guide you through the paperwork, approvals, and renewals—then provide skilled nursing or caregiving services that help you stay safely at home, using the benefits you’ve earned.
- Retired or former federal employees navigating complex benefits
- Patients with work-related illnesses who qualify for ongoing care
- Families needing a trusted partner to simplify the DOL process
For Private-Pay Families
We also serve families who want high-quality, consistent in-home care—without the burnout, confusion, or inconsistent staffing they’ve experienced elsewhere. Whether it’s help after a hospital stay or long-term support for aging in place, we provide the steady care your family deserves.
- Seniors living at home who need support with daily tasks or medical care
- Adults with chronic conditions or mobility concerns
- Spouses and adult children seeking relief from full-time caregiving
No matter how you come to us, we’ll meet you with clarity, compassion, and consistent follow-through. You don’t have to figure this out alone.
